Morgan-Monroe State Forest

Into the forest, I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. The calmness of forests is a therapy to the body and music being produced by the chirpings of leaves, bushes and birds freshness up the mind.
Morgan-Monroe forest is the state owned second largest forest in Indiana. It is spread over more than 24,000 acres of Morgan and Monore counties of Indiana. The state purchased this land in 1929 to create Morgan-Monroe state Forest.
The lakes, camping, hunting, hills, steep and demanding hiking trails, altogether makes it a place to fall in love with. Being comparatively the less travelled place means you can find more peace here. It is the perfect fit for adventure.
