Wylie House Museum

Wylie House Museum, Bloomington, Indiana, was built in 1835 by the first president of IU, he used it as him home. It has been the home of one of the professors of IU from 1859 to 1913. Wylie House is now operated as the the Historic House Museum which represents the lives of those historic families of IU.

The collections at Wylie House Museum which include the old artifacts, period antiques, photos etc. Which are used by the students and professors for research purposes. It is also open for general public and the management provides docents for tours.
